Table 4 shows an obvious decline in the mean perineal healing scores among the dry and moist heat groups on the 5 th day (2.34 ± 1.661 and 6.24 ± 3.274) and 10 th day after the interventions (0.84 ± 0.739 and 3.32 ± 2.645), with highly significant differences ( P < 0.001) between them in the favor of the dry heat group.
