A positive trend as TNM stage increased was noted [ 139 ]: long-term survival after minimally invasive gastrectomy tended to be higher in patients with stage III gastric cancer, probably due to lower stress responses, better preserved immune function, and earlier administration of adjuvant chemotherapy [ 139 , 140 ].
