Despite these limitations, our study is highly significant as it has the potential to accelerate the delivery of evidence-based acute stroke care in Australian and New Zealand hospitals by advancing knowledge of new effective models for implementation of the FeSS Protocols, while also examining fidelity of implementation and cost-effectiveness.
