Discussion Although no statistically significant differences were detected between groups regarding the primary and secondary outcomes, these data do reveal a slight trend toward shorter hospital length of stay, shorter readmission length of stay, and reduced rates of infection-related readmission and ED visits in patients discharged with pharmacist-driven OPAT management.
