6 In the current era, several studies have reported a decreasing trend for the occurrence of CUP with incidence rates of 1%–2%. 6 , 7 , 8 The declining incidence of CUP is considered to be closely related to the development of diagnostic technologies, such as radiology, histopathology, and genetic testing, which are also reflected in improved completeness and validity of the cancer registration data. 9 However, previous CUP epidemiological studies have focused on Sweden, Netherlands, Scotland, and United States.
