The combination of uncertainties coming from the use of different scenarios, models, and analysis techniques at the different stages typically results in a more or less significant overall inaccuracy of the final results (Kim et al. 2019 ; Lehner et al. 2020 ; Maher et al. 2021 ), which has to be carefully considered by policymakers.
