We also observed significant dose-response associations of maternal cumulative ACE exposure with children’s HRQOL sub-scores and total scores in both boys and girls ( p -values for trend < 0.05), except for the association between maternal ACEs and school functioning in girls, which only showed borderline significance of trend ( p -value for trend = 0.051).
