Majority of the patients (N = 163) were below 20 years of age, which typically correlates with onset of puberty, when sebum production increases.[ 6 ] After reaching the young adulthood, acne prevalence rates follow a decreasing trend with increasing age[ 6 ] which corroborates with our findings of least number of patients in the study lying above 41 years age group.
