Fortunately, over the past few decades there has been an increasing trend in global awareness regarding this emerging issue 12 , prompting several proposed programs for establishing sustainable fishery plans 13 – 15 as well as the development of tools that can educate consumers about the impact of products on the natural environment throughout their life cycle, but which at the same time can also provide producers with the opportunity to inform consumers about the benefits of their products 11 .
