Compared with participants who consumed citrus </=2 times/week, the multivariate HR (hazard ratio, i.e., the risk related to those with low baseline citrus intake) for dementia among those who ate citrus 3–4 times/week and almost daily was 0.92 (95% CI 0.80–1.07) and 0.86 (95% CI 0.73–1.01), respectively, with a favorable trend ( p = 0.065).
