Comparing light-adapted-only 5xFAD and WT mice showed that the ELM-RPE thickness in the light became significantly smaller (i.e., more like dark WT mice) in superior retina, although this difference did not achieve significance in inferior retina ( Fig. 3 C); dark-adapted 5xFAD and WT groups were similar ( Fig. 3 D).
