The correlation of inter-electrode distance with inter-electrode PLI was very weak in all subjects at all frequency bands (median rho over frequency bands: −0.06<rho<0) with no clear direction, albeit highly significant in single subjects (maximal positive correlation: rho = 0.15, maximal negative correlation: rho = −0.19; p<0.0001) due to the high number of values (214*213/2 data points per subject).
Subsequent categorical testing against the other biomarkers, clinical and paraclinical parameters still showed highly significant relations between CXCL13, MMP-9 and CXCL10 (p<0.0001 for all) and between CXCL13, MMP-9 and all CSF MS-risk parameters (p<0.0001 for all).

The differences are highly significant (χ 2 = 1511; p<0.0001) and consistent with the prediction that a substantial functional cost is associated with even a single nucleotide change within miRNA seed regions.

As shown in Table 2 , the first canonical function (F1) had the highest eigenvalues and was highly significant across all fertility scales (Bartlett’s test, p < 0.0001), concentrating most discriminatory information.

We observed a highly significant correlation between genetic (Fst) and geographical distances (Mantel’s test, P-value < 0.0001, S3 Fig ) between populations (sites) of B. tabaci SSA1 SG1 U SG2 (this Mantel test was not performed on B. tabaci SG3 or SSA2 ∪ SSA3 due to low sample sizes).
Because of the sample size with normally distributed fluorescence the t-test statistical analysis was highly significant (p<0.0001) in almost all samples.
The difference between these means is highly significant (n = 28; P<0.0001, paired t test, two tailed).
The number of scales did not show significant differences among the four southern phenotypes (diagonal, vertical and longitudinal bars, and stellate spot; GLM: all p>0.4), whereas the difference was highly significant between these four phenotypes and the round spot skin pattern (GLM: t = 11.9, p<0.0001).
Type III fixed effects test showed a highly significant (p<0.0001) effect of DxGP on RIN values but no significant effect were observed for G, D and GP on the trait.
In each subject the proportion of variance explained was superior in the non-shuffled data and this difference was highly significant (Wilcoxon signed rank test, all p values <.0001).
In each subject large off–axis placement of the laser beam caused a highly significant (p < 0.0001) RNFL thickness measurement artifacts in almost all sectors.
Additionally, diagnosis of colon cancer with both sDC-SIGN and sDC-SIGNR was highly significant (P<0.0001).
This difference is highly significant (p<0.0001, Kolmogorov-Smirnov Z = 4.121; ANOVA: F = 55.3).

The AMOVA analysis showed that although the most of the genetic diversity was attributable to differences among individuals within populations (85.78%), the φ ST values among populations were highly significant ( φ ST = 0.141 p< 0.0001) confirming the existence of population differentiation.
Additionally, non-parametric one-way ANOVA analysis for comparing methylation levels of one loci in different tissues was highly significant for all loci (CpG-1 and CpG-2 for both male and female subpopulations, Krustal-Wallis test, p<0.0001) A relatively greater level of methylation was observed in most tissues at IAP-LTR, Line-1 and Myc .
These effects were highly significant after adjustment for multiple comparisons (p<0.0001, Table S2 ).
In the case of the non-sensitive membrane proteins, the motif was found only in 5 out of 143 sequences demonstrating a highly significant correlation between the presence of the motif in an SAS and its cotransin sensitivity (p value < 0.0001 according to Fisher ́s exact test) [ 21 ].
