However, the up- and down-regulated gene sets overlapped in only 4 (up, Fisher test p -value: 0.036) and 2 (down, Fisher test p -value: 0.11) genes ( Figure 4 ), suggesting that in spite of the observed overlaps, which may be moderately significant for the up-regulated, but hardly significant for the down-regulated genes, naphthalene induces rather specific responses in the two tissues.
Linking tropical Africa cooling to El Niño onset In ATM, the equatorial Pacific wind stress and SST response is negative but hardly significant at the end of the eruption year (Fig. 5a, b yellow curve ), indicating that in isolation from the surface cooling, the direct effect of the radiative forcing on the atmosphere cannot explain the volcanically induced western Pacific initial westerly wind anomaly (Fig. 4e, f ) and the subsequent El Niño.
Using a paired sample Wilcoxon sign-rank test (non-parametric test), the results for naturalized respondents showed hardly significant changes in the average value for identification with Germany over this period: indifference profile ( n = 25; T = 85.50, ns ); partial integration profile ( n = 36; T = 230.00, ns ); assimilation profile ( n = 15; T = 35.00, ns ); separation profile ( n = 22; T = 52.00, ns ).
Lamotrigine showed to be slightly more effective than placebo in this study with limited cases and statistical analysis achieved a hardly significant power.[ 12 ] As mentioned earlier, lamotrigine has been studied in the past for management of painful neuropathic conditions with only few establishing their efficacy in trigeminal neuralgia.
