With the increase in Al 3+ concentration, the root length of the wild type and atot mutant showed a trend of shortening and finally reached the lowest values at 200 μM Al 3+ , which were 1.32 and 0.70 cm, respectively ( Figure 4 B,C), indicating that aluminum stress was more harmful to the atot mutant than to the wild-type.
