The forearm periosteal diameter trajectory was steeper in children measured in 2017–2018 compared to 1979–1981 [1.1%/year (0.3%, 2.0%)]; the forearm medullary diameter trajectory may have been steeper, but differences did not reach statistical significance [1.6%/year (−0.1%, 3.3%)] (Table 1 , Fig. 4 ).
