Regarding the temporal tendency obtained from the regression models ( Table 2 ), considering the model without adjustment for system coverage, there is a tendency towards a reduction of the prevalence of child stunting only in the states of Acre (APV: -2,56; CI 95% -3.79; -1.31), Amazonas (APV: -3.79; CI 95% -4.71; -2.87), Pará (APV: -4.02; CI 95% -5.21; -2.82), and Tocantins (APV: -2.37; CI 95% -3.16; -1.57), whereas the other states showed a trend of stability.
