Overall, insofar as conclusions can be drawn from measurements on just sixteen specimens drawn from three different types of mouse lymphatic vessel, there is a clear trend that the distensibility of popliteal and mesenteric vessels is greater just after the valve, at least at low and intermediate transmural pressure.
