The sentences
The alpha diversity evidenced a decreasing trend from the stations belonging to STF until SACCF, which sharply increased towards the southernmost part of the transect ( Figure S3, Table S3 ).
In particular, within Flavobacteriales, members belonging to Polaribacter and Formosa genus showed an interesting trend with an increase in the relative abundance of ASVs assigned to Polaribacter when approaching the RSCS and a concomitant decrease in the relative abundance of ASVs assigned to the Formosa genus.
