Intraclass correlation analysis for somatic signs showed an estimate for heritability of 0.668 in mecamylamine treated animals and 0.318 in saline treated mice, consistent with the highly significant increase ( p < 0.0001) in somatic signs caused by mecamylamine treatment of nicotine‐exposed mice (11.82) versus saline treatment (3.24).
