Recent studies evaluating the effectiveness of diabetes prevention for women with prior GDM through a 6-month intensive lifestyle intervention showed inconsistent results in glycemic control, with a significant reduction in FBG and 2hPG of OGTT observed in the intervention group compared with controls, but HbA1c in two groups showed a clear trend of increase, and there is no difference between the two groups after 6-month intervention ( 15 , 40 ).
