When the verbal hallucination proneness score was entered in the model instead of the LSHS score in the post-hoc analysis, its contribution to the response bias did not reach statistical significance (β = 0.41, p > 0.10), and no significant association was observed for visual imagery (β = − 0.21), delusion proneness (β = − 0.18), age (β = − 0.12), sex (β = 0.27), education level (β = 0.11), or verbal IQ (β = 0.17) ( p > 0.10 in all cases).
