In the multivariable logistic regression model, age (B = 0.023, 95% CI 0.001–0.045, p = 0.038), male sex (B = 6.8, 95% CI 3.1–10.4, p < 0.001), and coronary artery disease (CAD, B = 7.6, 95% CI 2.3–12.9, p = 0.005) were significantly correlated with baseline sST2 levels, while there was a tendency for peripheral artery disease (PAD, B = 3.1, 95% CI −0.3–6.5, p = 0.073); however, it did not reach statistical significance.
