We observed that the presence of a CHIP mutation was significantly associated with worse overall survival (OS) for breast and lung cancer, whereas other cancer types showed a trend toward the presence of a CHIP mutation and an association with worse OS, but because of the small number of samples, significance was not reached ( Supplemental Figure 1 , A–G).
