Interestingly, Chao1 and Shannon also showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing with the increase of nitrogen application in SH, which is consistent with the trend of nutrient content change in reclaimed soil, there is ample evidence that an increase in nitrogen input leads to a decrease in bacterial diversity ( Zhou et al., 2015 ), and that high mineral nitrogen content may create stress conditions that inhibit bacterial growth, resulting in a significant decrease in bacterial diversity ( Shen et al., 2016 ).
