As depicted in Figure 3 B, a trend toward more ischemic strokes could be observed in the stand-alone LAAO group, which did not reach statistical significance ( P = .114), and when adjusted for CHA 2 DS 2 -VASc and age, this trend was no longer present (HR 1.1, 95% confidence interval 0.4–2.9, P = .852).
