Bulk CD8 and CD4 T cells expressed more granzyme B in lesion tissue than in contralateral tissue, but this increase did not reach statistical significance, possibly due to the limited number of participants examined, which was in part due to the intensive nature of the longitudinal sampling, as well as clinic constraints due to COVID-19.
