In the current study, the diagnostic accuracy and sample adequacy of small lesions based on lesion size (≤2 cm) were also lower than those of medium size (2 cm< lesions ≤5 cm) and large-size lesions (>5 cm), but these differences did not reach statistical significance (84.7% vs. 90.8% vs. 90.5%, P = 0.301 and 93.1% vs. 96.1% vs. 96.9%, P = 0.307, respectively).
