Our protocol only reports severe bronchiectasis to primary care providers (PCPs); compared with participants with mild or moderate bronchiectasis this group were more likely to report persistent cough (43.4% vs 27.3%, p=0.24) and sputum production (31.3% vs 18.6% p=0.336), although this did not reach statistical significance.
