Of note, the size of the homograft, normally considered an important determinant in the hemodynamic outcomes after aortic valve replacement, failed to reach statistical significance in the multivariable model, but higher allograft dimensions were associated with less SVD during univariate analysis, reliably indicating that the limited sample size was underpowered to denote the potential significance of this variable in the model.
