Both CD68 + TAMs and PD-L1 revealed an insignificant correlation with overall survival in OSCC patients and limits the prognostic value of both biomarkers in OSCC, however the fact that the OS approached significance for PD-L1 is potentially indicative of PD-L1 being revealed as a positive prognostic indicator in the future.
