But, when nuclear grooves with oval shape, chromatin clearing, and nuclear overlapping, are seen in BTLs, they do cause a diagnostic dilemma, resulting in the diagnosis of “atypical cytology/indeterminate significance” on fine needle aspiration (FNA) samples [ 3 , 18 , 19 ].
