Whilst the association between GAB1 and 14q32 miRNAs was evident based on IGHV status, the same association failed to reach statistical significance in the M-CLL cases with differing BCR competence, that may, to some degree, reflect suboptimal statistical power that would be overcome with future screening of a larger cohort of CLL patients.
