No significant difference was found in either pre-post score changes (SMD = −0.49; 95% CI -1.07–0.09; p = 0.10; I 2 = 93%) or post-intervention score (SMD = −0.10; 95% CI -0.28–0.07; p = 0.25; I 2 = 80%), although the pooled analysis showed a trend of favoring the vitamin D group ( Figure 2 ).
