There was a strong trend towards a risk effect in the older adult subgroup, with a significant increase in TB risk for each 10 μg/m 3 increase in PM 2.5 concentration, with cumulative RR of 5.16 (95%CI: 2.16–12.33) versus 2.44 (95%CI: 1.23–4.84).
