ROC analysis of long-term MACCE showed that the AUC of SII (AUC, 0.72; 95% CI, 0.60–0.84; P <0.001) was greater than that of CRP (AUC, 0.64; 95% CI, 0.51–0.77; P = 0.040) ( Fig 3 ), suggesting that SII was superior to CRP as a predictor for long-term MACCE after CAS procedure, but the difference did not reach statistical significance (P = 0.22).
