In Project A, the average DLMO on Night 2 was later than on Night 1, as would be expected given that the intrinsic period of the central circadian pacemaker is longer than 24 h and that the participants were exposed to brighter light on the morning of Day 1, although the difference (20 min) did not reach statistical significance in this small study sample.
