Effects of Protocatechuic Acid and Syringin on PM10-Induced Keratinocyte Cytotoxicity and PGE 2 and PGD 2 Release Protocatechuic acid showed a trend of decreasing HaCaT cell viability when added at concentrations between 30 and 100 μg/mL for 48 h ( Figure 6 a); however, the only statistically significant difference occurred at 100μg/mL of protocatechuic acid.
