However, among individual SSRIs, this effect was nearly significant ( Relative risk: 1.06, CI: 1.00 to 1.13), and the effect was significant for escitalopram. 50 Additionally, neither SNRIs ( Relative risk: 0.97, CI: 0.88 to 1.06) nor second-generation antidepressants (e.g., bupropion, vilazodone, vortioxetine) were associated with a significant increase in headaches over the course of the trial.
