Compared with molnupiravir-treated patients, those who were treated with nirmatrelvir plus ritonavir showed a reduction in absolute risk of death (−7.89 events per 1000 persons, 95% CI −15.00 to −0.61), while the relative risk of death between the two groups did not reach statistical significance (RR 0.14, 95% CI 0.02–1.16).
