Utilizing Cox proportional hazards analysis, it was observed in the cancer patient group that pre-operative levels of fibrinogen, corrected calcium, C-reactive protein (CRP), PAP, TFPI full, and vWF and female gender were significantly associated with survival, while other parameters – preoperative hemoglobin level, leukocyte count, serum iron, sodium, potassium, creatinine, albumin, aspartate aminotransferase, alanine aminotransferase levels – did not reach statistical significance.
