Within the subgroup of B1 fractures treated only with plate fixation (22 cases), those with RAI > 2/3 had a numerically higher reoperation rate (5 of 13 cases) than those with RAI ≤ 2/3 (2 of 9), but this difference did not reach statistical significance (Fisher’s exact test, OR 0.46, CI 0.07 to 3.14, P = 0.6).
