Across four development stages, the average abundance of individual functional groups varied and in seedling, we noted 51.90% OTUs, in small saplings 44.02%, in large saplings 40.29%, and in mature trees 43.12% A decreasing trend in the proportion of saprotrophic fungi was observed in small saplings and large saplings as development progressed from seedlings to mature trees.
