Konrad 12 studied the freeze–thaw characteristics of fine-grained soil, and the results showed that the density, permeability, and porosity of the soil were affected by freeze–thaw cycles. Zheng 13 believed that the compressive strength of soil showed a trend of first decreasing and then increasing during freeze–thaw cycles.
