It is noticeable that the DEB cohort showed a trend of a significantly lower all-cause mortality after removal of Silverio’s trial [0.01 (0.00–0.02) vs. 0.03 (0.02–0.05)] and a significantly lower mortality rate when studies with a follow-up time of >12 months only were compared [0.01 (0.00–0.03) vs. 0.04 (0.02–0.07).
