In Figure 6 a, the contact electrification voltage is determined as a function of contact time for different relative humidities between a silica colloidal probe and the CF x . A clear trend is observed in which V CE increases for longer contact times in contrast to the adhesion force. 64 For the other material combinations, the charging process is too fast (pristine SiO 2 ) or weak (polystyrene probe) to observe the same trends.
