Body composition and MDS Body fat percentage (β = − 0.82; 95% CI − 1.64, 0.01; P = 0.052) and fat mass index to fat-free mass index ratio (β = − 0.016; 95% CI − 0.032, 0.0002; P = 0.052) showed a trend for a significant inverse relationship with MDS tertiles in the crude model (Table 3 ).
