Five-year cumulative LFS, PFS, combined outcome-free survival (CFS), and OS in the eltrombopag arm were 65.0% (95% CI, 51.7 to 78.3), 61.4% (95% CI, 45.3 to 77.5), 54.0% (95% CI, 39.3 to 68.7), and 77.3% (95% CI, 64.4 to 90.2), respectively, compared with 44.9% (95% CI, 4.3 to 85.5), 44.6% (95% CI, 5.8 to 83.4), 34.5% (95% CI, 2.4 to 66.6), and 58.1% (95% CI, 9.7 to 100.0) in the placebo arm, and did not reach statistical significance.
