Analysis of differences in pharmacotherapy showed a trend toward more frequent use of an aldosterone antagonist in Group I (60.0% vs. 38.7%; p = 0.2), but no differences were found regarding the use of β-blockers (100% vs. 97.1%; p = 0.254) and angiotensin-converting-enzyme inhibitors/angiotensin II receptor blockers (91.1% vs. 91.4%; p = 0.96) between both groups.
