An Australian study showed that cooking skills were positively correlated with a diet quality score and intakes of several healthy foods such as fruit and vegetables, although the association between cooking skills and the diet quality score did not reach statistical significance after adjustment for other factors such as sex, age and nutrition knowledge ( 14 ) .
