The serum TSH levels of the pregnant women with preconception serum TSH levels between 0.3 and 2.5 mIU/l and with anti-TPO antibody levels ≤100 IU/ml decreased during early pregnancy, but the differences did not reach statistical significance ( Fig. 5 ).

In infertile women with subclinical hypothyroidism, with or without thyroid peroxidase antibodies, serum TSH during pregnancy follows preconception values and thyroid hormones remain stable.
